In every area of the host city, one permanent artistic installation is built during the edition and it stays. The tradeshow leaves, the art remains: a trail of lasting works across the whole city, growing with every edition.
A free, open-air walk through the identity of 25,321 cultures. A reason for visitors to return long after the edition closes. A permanent stage for the cultures that made each work and a lasting mark of the years the city hosted the world.
Trail works follow the same rule as every tradeshow product: designers and artists from different countries create them together, with local materials and local hands so every installation belongs to the city and to the cultures that built it.
