Free always

Talent belongs to every culture. Registration is free always. UC and its partners cover the cost so designers can focus on their work. There is no fee to apply, upload a portfolio or be reviewed by the jury.

Seven seats per country or region

Every one of the 269 countries and regions holds seven designer seats 1,883 designers at full scale, each officially mandated by their government or culture representative to carry their culture's identity, like an Olympic delegation of design.

The road

Pre-register after the Madrid World Press Conference → Rome Design Congress jury round one, shortlist → Milan Design Congress jury round two, final selection → Marrakech, April 2027 paired two by two, protocol to product.

Selected designers receive

Travel, accommodation, booth and materials covered by UC, its partners and host-country sponsors. A free UC Member desktop for as long as they are active full access to Community, App, Network, UCai, OS, Office, Meet, Mail and Agenda. A worldwide stage, a production chain behind their protocol, and revenue shared per the UC Designer Agreement.
