The United Cultures Manifest is the foundational document of our intergovernmental foundation. It defines the principles that all members, partners, and member states commit themselves to — a universal framework for cultural coexistence, justice, and prosperity.
These 25 principles were developed through consultation with cultural representatives from around the world, drawing on the values of diverse civilisations, traditions, and belief systems. They are not imposed from above — they reflect the shared wisdom of humanity cultures.
By joining United Cultures as a member, partner, or member state, you commit to upholding these principles in your work, your community, and your country.
Conflicts which lead to wars shall be avoided by diplomacy. United Cultures promotes peaceful resolution of all disputes through dialogue and cultural understanding.
Allowing religious diversity and promoting interfaith dialogues. Every religion and spiritual tradition deserves respect and protection.
Promote sustainable food and farming and eventually apply. Traditional agricultural practices are protected alongside modern sustainable methods.
Commemorating national and international wars. History must be remembered to ensure it is not repeated — across all cultures and all conflicts.
Take responsible action in the interest for the protection of clean water. Water is a universal cultural and human right.
Critical look at producing and application of medicines on humans and animals. Cultural approaches to health and healing are respected and integrated.
Basic education by offering support to anyone with educational disadvantage. Knowledge is a universal right regardless of culture, background, or location.
Protection of biodiversity in unique habitats. Many of the world cultures are inseparable from the natural environments they inhabit.
Protection of the cultural heritage of regions and countries. Languages, traditions, arts, and practices of every culture must be preserved for future generations.
Promote legal protection for the individual, cultures, and dissenters. Every person and every culture deserves equal protection under the law.
Providing knowledge and information of cultures within its borders. Governments must facilitate access to cultural education and information.
Freedom of writing diversity of cultures within its borders. The literature, poetry, and writing of all cultures must be free to flourish.
Respect journalistic and press freedom. A free press is essential to cultural transparency and accountability in all member states.
Offering help in emergency situations to affected regions. Cultural solidarity means responding to crises with immediate and sustained support.
Promote awareness of regional products and local dishes. Cultural economies are built on the unique products and traditions of each community.
Science education accessible for everyone for whom the thresholds of traditional universities are too high. Knowledge must cross cultural and economic barriers.
Independent judiciary in country or region. Cultural justice requires legal systems free from political and commercial interference.
Address and combat corruption in country or region. Corruption destroys cultural institutions and deprives communities of their rights and resources.
Independent medical scientific research. Healthcare decisions must be guided by evidence, not commercial interests, across all cultures.
Provide basic Internet and telephony in country or region. Digital access is a cultural right — connecting communities to the global conversation.
Basic health care right in country or region. Every human being, regardless of culture, deserves access to basic medical care.
Not protect war criminals in country or region. Those who commit crimes against cultures and communities must face justice.
Support for the abolition of diplomatic immunity in cases of serious crimes. No individual stands above cultural justice.
Protect all animals in your country and region. The relationship between cultures and animals is sacred and must be honoured.
Protect the nature in your country and region. The natural world is the birthplace of culture — without it, culture cannot survive.
