The Bosnia Health Resort project represents a unique approach to healthcare — one that recognises cultural identity as fundamental to healing. Located in the heart of Bosnia Herzegovina, this resort integrates traditional Bosnian medicine, thermal spring therapies, and community-based healing practices with modern medical facilities.
The project serves not only Bosnia but the wider Western Balkans region — providing culturally sensitive healthcare to communities that have experienced decades of conflict and displacement. Our approach acknowledges that true healing must address cultural trauma alongside physical illness.
Support for Women and Families
A core pillar of the Bosnia Health Resort is dedicated support for women and families affected by the Bosnian conflict — including trauma counselling, rehabilitation, and community reintegration programmes. UC works with local NGOs and international partners to ensure culturally appropriate care is available to all who need it.
